Didn't Pull Forward 2014 Tax Year as anticipated

This year seemed a little more complicated and/or the questions didn't seem as straight forward. I had to ask for help a lot more than in years past. Was unhappy that it couldn't find or pull up my info from 2014. Perhaps my software was the problem. I have an IMac. I had to re-input several times items that I know I had filled in the information. But love being able to get both my Federal and State done at the same time. One problem that happened: it was showing a different dollar amount for the Federal return than the printed copy of my return. I reviewed the forms one by one and when I returned to file it had corrected itself.
What's great about it: Like the updated version on itemized deduction list of items.
What's not so great: Hated the health Insurance mess kept spinning.

The Smart Way to Complete Taxes

I have used Turbo Tax for 15+ years. The software is very easy to understand and intuitive. I find it to be complete and accurate. Last year my husband made me go get the return I completed using Turbo Tax checked by a tax attorney and the attorney confirmed that it was entirely correct. Customer for life!

Taxation WITH Representation

I'm a regular taxpayer, but don't feel confident in the slightest about filing for taxes, or have a clue what information is needed of me. Turbotax turned the labyrinth of the US tax filing system into an interview of black and white, step-by-step questions. And I got back a ton of money. Ipso facto, I can use just a small portion of my tax return on buying Turbotax next year, and put the rest in the bank. Take THAT, taxes.
What's great about it: Simple, step-by-step directions to file your taxes and a sense of security.
What's not so great: If i made a mistake and left the step I was on, Turbotax wasn't clear to help me get back to where I left off
