Somewhat Disappointed

The 2015 version was harder to navigate and to revise entries than in prior years. I noted a discrepancy between my entries and the data shown on Schedule A.The program took entries for 2014 state tax payments in 2015 and multiplied by four, It took a phone call to find the error source and correct it. After collecting an e-file charge, the program would not allow e-filimg and it took two more phone calls to obtain a refund. After printing out the forms for mail filing, the software still suggested e-fililng. Also, the mac version would not download the prior years data.The software needs work for 2016 tax year.
What's great about it: Leads you through each category.
What's not so great: Harder to navigate. Software error in the program.

Great Return

I really appreciate your providing a real person to answer my questions when I hit a problem that i couldn't find the answer. The girls that I talked to were very polite and helpful. Great job.
The biggest trouble I had was trying to find pages that I wanted to correct after I had finished my tax return. It is difficult to return to an area. I hope you all can come up with an easier way to do this.
What's great about it: It was great having a real person to answer question.

Who likes paying extra taxes... but it's fair

This experience would have been a whole lot worse without TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy of use
What's not so great: Need more advise on how to save for next year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy even with 1099s!

I have used TurboTax for years and have been a satisfied customer. I had a more complicated return this year and am satisfied with how it took me through the process. I'm not even curious about any other programs.
What's great about it: Most questions are answered easily.
What's not so great: Not clear about when to print hard copy of return

Conquering the IRS

The product has been with me forever. I would not attempt doing taxes without it. Keeping track of your last year's return and filing in your information saves so much time. I love using Its Deductible throughout the year and then just having it import the data in a form that you can handle an audit is priceless. To me this product is a no brainer to get for anyone doing their own taxes.
What's great about it: Confidence in having all bases covered. Good for beginners and thoses familiar with the product. Step by step.
What's not so great: Help questions scan isn't good enough to understand question.
