HOW I LIKE TURBO TAX?

I HAVE USED PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS BUT I WILL NOW USE TURBOTAX PROGRAM NEXT YEAR.
What's great about it: EASY TO LOAD TO COMPUTER
What's not so great: ADD INCOME AND DEDUCTIONS FROM ACTUAL FORM.

Smooth as silk

What's great about it: Great for repeat users. Retrieves previous information seamlessly. Graphics are very clear and uncluttered.
What's not so great: Would hope the amount charged for e-filing the state return will decrease in the future. It seems a bit steep.

had to go to forms to enter required information for college contribution. There was no interview question presented to cover the topic.
What's not so great: did not ask for contribution to state approved college education fund for grandkids.

Faithful program

Overall, I have enjoyed using Turbo Tax, the Government has accepted the results.
And most importantly, Intuit keeps up to date!
What's great about it: Many years of trustworthy use
What's not so great: one year the program let me forget ot enter social security info

Doesn't do everything as easy as they say

I've used TurboTax for years. The main thing I am disgruntled about is that a question will ask if you need to file a particular form, or make a certain entry. How do I know? That's what I bought the program for! To tell me what I need to do. I entered all my info (w-2s, etc.) and it still asks me, like I know. For example, it doesn't automatically do AMT. It should already have looked at my info and decided that I needed it. It does this many times to me in this program. It should know, or at least point you in the right direction if it doesn't have all the info to make a decision. You still need to know about taxes to use this program.
What's great about it: Gets the job done
What's not so great: With doing your homework
