Mostly good, one area awfull, awful, awfull

used it for years. Advantage is that it remembers what you entered on forms from years ago that had to be remembered like IRA info.
What's great about it: easy to ese unless.....
What's not so great: Made a mistake in entering data on sale of home. could not go back to correct no matter what I tried.

Very good...but

Read Maryland's instructions - income can be Interest income from savings. SO even if a spouse is not employed they still can have income. And that income counts toward the 2 earner deduction. I swear, every year people... fix it.
What's great about it: makes it easy
What's not so great: s-t-i-l-l you get the Maryland 2 income earner wrong.

IF IT WAS NOT FOR PROBLEMS WITH MY K1 THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BEST EVER FILLING
What's great about it: VERY GOOD AND FAST AND ACCURATE
What's not so great: TROUBLE WITH K1 REPORTS FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS. HAD TO CALL FOR HELP 3 YEARS RUNNING.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

1. Starting with page one, Turbo Tax should prompt to set up a file, and then automatically save everything as the task progresses. I had to re-do the first several pages because another open program froze, requiring me to reboot the computer and causing me to begin TT again.
2. Create a "return to previous activity" that will return you to "page x" when the user found it necessary to revisit a previous page to check or verify some info. As it is now, a return to "page d" necessitates re-traveling through all the pages between "page b" and "page x".
