Great Product Even for a Novice

My fourth year of doing the taxes after my husband's death. Thank you for making a difficult task much easier. Most importantly, I know that I have not missed any form or income stream or deduction.
What's great about it: Easy walk through of all forms and questions
What's not so great: Buttons for continue are often hidden

Crashes

This year's Turbo Tax crashed when I went to print for filing. Then when I opened it up again, it asked me to update to a NEW Turbo Tax, which when I did, removed all my data from the tax file I was working on. Really a poor job this year folks!

First time user. Recommended by a relative. It was relatively painless compared to doing it by hand myself. Even found another deduction I did not know I could have taken! Thank you.

What's great about it: easier to move between forms and interview than earllier Turbotax
What's not so great: Still not all that clear which TurboTax was needed to download my investment data. Needs to be spelled out more clearly

Love the tax prep, but for the last 3 years I have ended up taking the standard deduction. Need software for short form with ease of e file.

What's not so great: Too much for me. I only need to file short form

TurboTax worked extremely well again this year for us! It pulled up last year's data, and asked the questions we needed to answer to complete this year's. Ours is not a super complex financial situation, but is probably similar to many other homeowners. Great job, folks at TT!!
