Some of my 1099-R forms did not even have a box 9a
Ended spending considerable time trying to work around this but TurboTax kept requiring data to be entered in this field. Finally entered 100% (per remarks by others with the same problem and the answer they received from TurboTax Rep.

Very Frustrating

easy until time to file

I love turbo tax and have used it for years. However, the hardest part was signing in just so I could file. It wouldn't accept my password, so I tried resetting via email. It took over 11 tries to do so...resulting with a locked acct few times....as I kept getting error messages or email expirations. It took longer to file electronically than it did to do my taxes.
What's great about it: easy to use until electronic filing
What's not so great: electronic filing issues

There are points in the preparation process that is not straight forward or clear and the turbo tax does not gives you a clear answer, but overall is a good product
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Outstanding Software

TurboTax manages to make a very difficult process as simple as answering basic questions. And if you do not understand something, TurboTax has an excellent help function.
I have used TurboTax for more than 10 years and have yet to be disappointed!
What's great about it: Easy to follow step-by-step process
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for some years now, and have nothing but praise for it. Easy to use; easy on the eyes; straight-forward. What else could I ask for?!

Clothing donation descriptions difficult to match with actual items of clothing. For example women's golf skirts and tops not really identifiable in the selection provided.
On another note -- Why must the quarterly estimate be printed on four individual sheets of paper rather then one sheet (or two) with dotted lines for individual quarters?
Other than that I have been using Turbo Tax for better than 15 yrs and find it to be the most cost efficient way to prepare my returns
What's great about it: Ease of use - especially guidelines
What's not so great: Charitable Donations other than money

Excellent product and service

Easy to use & pulls in last year's info for use (where applicable)and comparison. Phone help support worked very well. I was called back in about a minute and the support person was able to walk me through paying for the state e-file.

why so much emphasis on filing?
got very tired of waiting while program checked to updates

What's not so great: cannot print a single page from the screen, cannot go easily from the error notice to the form to correct the item,
