Excellent software!

I liked processing my taxes with TurboTax. The agents that I had to talk with were really very helpful and make you feel that they are really interested in helping you. The software is very friendly and I had a very satisfactory experience. The only comment I had was that as I had to report foreign bank accounts where I'm an authorized signatory (Schedule B), the online version doesn't allow you to update all the countries where the accounts are and I had to be sent a file to download in my laptop, it worked alright but the glitch should be fixed. Thanks TurboTax, another good tax year!

The program is great, simple and easy, but the deduction by the government is too complicated, they really need to simplify the tax codes!

the only tax program you'll ever use

have been doing my own taxes with Turbo Tax for over a decade, I've never had a single issue and the program's ability to pull in the previous year's data to compare information and make sure you catch everything and get the most back is outstanding! the only issue I have is that I have had to file multiple states for several years, and downloading another state's forms cost more than what I pay for the program to do my federal (with e-file) and a state.
What's great about it: quick, efficient, helps get the most back
What's not so great: filing multiple states is ridiculously expensive

Simple and Smart

Third year using it versus a good but expensive CPA. So easy to pay and get refunds. Some weird navigation things here and there but nothing to complain about too much. I did screw up a W2 (last years!) but it caught it based on an out of range response. Very nice - saved me a real headache.
For folks like me who dedicate a day to the effort, it would be neat for some helpful reminders to be mixed in along the way such as to get the documents in order before jumping in the program as opposed to trying to find them when you're a bit tired and annoyed at all of the money you are sending to DC LOL
Great product.
What's great about it: Saved me a bundle vs tax preparers; catches stupid mistakes
What's not so great: Would be neat if filings could be buffered to allow MY mistakes to be fixed

Turbo Tax should take all information in for both a husband and wife, then massage all of the information and tell you which filing status is best for your situation(s) and which deductions should be used by each person.

Problems saving my tax info on my desktop PC

Every time I exited TurboTax and went back in the following day, it deleted my .tax2015 file. I don't want to save my tax return online. Did I do something wrong, or is there a glitch in the program, or is this a not so subtle hint that TurboTax wants me to save my tax data on their file servers?
What's great about it: Very thorough as usual.
What's not so great: Every time I exited TurboTax and went back in, it deleted my tax return on my desktop PC.
