2015 Tax Season

Over like the soft wear, easy to use. Filing an issues this year had to update the soft wear a couple of time in order to file. There was another cost to file the state which I thought was with the sofe wear.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the screen and do the taxes. It updated from the past years I have used Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Had problem sending returns should have be sent a week ago

Check figures

I fumed for 4 months over having to pay $3000 in taxes and then at the last minute decided to compare with last years form and checking my figures I found I had made a stupid mistake entering my income. I corrected it and really only owned the IRS $81. Whew! It pays to double check figures.
What's great about it: Fasy and easy
What's not so great: Check figures you can make mistakes

As easy as can be

I've used TurboTax for years and it always makes filing easy. In the years when our tax picture was more complicated it guided us right through everything. Now that things are easy it makes taxes something I don't dread.
What's great about it: Guided me from beginning to end
What's not so great: None I can think of

The only way to file returns. Answer the questions in a logical fashion and you find every credit and deduction. I have used Turbo Tax for several years and highly recommend to my friends.
What's great about it: Fast, easy & accurate.

2015 Taxes

I have always used this program but was very disappointed at the high cost for the 2nd state. I could have bought another program for the same cost almost.
What's great about it: Down load from prior year
What's not so great: High cost of 2nd state

Turbo Tax makes it very easy to do my taxes. I like how it takes you step by step and that it show you the comparison with last year's taxes.
What's great about it: very easy to do.
What's not so great: Say it comes with the state tax but then charges you to submit the return.

Swift and Easy!

Overall, I really like Turbo-Tax. It is easy to use and works well. Generally, all of the items from the previous year transfer over to the current year, however, this time a couple education questions did not and got me a little mixed up when I tried to figure them out. I am still not sure about whether I had a specific credit or not, but I got a great education deduction that really helped out.
What's great about it: Took about 2 hours to complete and send taxes
What's not so great: Wish a couple items would transfer over from prior years.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have never encountered a situation that I was not able to easily navigate thru using the software. I feel the software provides enough guidance and asks enough questions to allow me to file a more thorough return than I might otherwise do using a third party preparer. Additionally, I do not have to worry about simple arithmetic or logic errors and the Audit Defense service - though I've never had to use it - gives me additional peace of mind.
What's great about it: Fast, efficient, thorough
What's not so great: No place to add a footnote to provide additional information with return if desired
