Mostly worked

The IRS instructions said if business doesn't have a name other than the individual, then leave blank, but Turbo Tax wouln't file without something written in the blank, so I typed the instructions into the space to force it to work.
What's great about it: Fast and thorough
What's not so great: Had a bug for Schedule C

Product is great! Easy to follow, especially with the expansion of businesses/brokers/banks that allow you import directly without having to enter the information!
What's great about it: Easy to follow step-by-step instructions. Able to import tax information directly from the employer/bank.

Turbo Tax 2016 returns

continuing on the cons. Have to scroll through all the previously answered questions to get to the next topic. Complained of this for a couple years now. doesn't seem as user friendly as the first 8 to 9 years of Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: I still like Turbo Tax after being sold on it's use some 15+ years ago
What's not so great: Going through the expenses and income sections, we have to scroll through the items we just finished to get to the next

I like the Step by Step instructions to complete both returns and ability to e-file when done.

Wonderful Way to Prepare Taxes

I file with Turbo Tax every year since I first bought it and would recommend it to everyone!
What's great about it: Everything is great with TurboTax
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes for Dummies!

This was my first time filing my own taxes and while I had my mom sit next to me to complete it - I found I probably didn't need her there! Still owed more than I wanted to but TurboTax helped me find ways to claim things I didn't even know I could.
What's great about it: Helped me find ways to claim money that I didn't know I could. Ex. expenses for a move!
What's not so great: Can't think of anything
