I have use turbotax for many years. I love it
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: I had no problems with the app
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

A Glitch I could not overcome.

Program would not allow e-filing of state return because of reference to solar and wind energy equipment credit carryover, which I did not claim. No way to override.
What's great about it: Still relatively easy to navigate.
What's not so great: Hard to navigate production of estimated tax vouchers for federal and state.

Went to the accounting folks last year after liquidating much of my portfolio and preparing for total retirement; that is when I filed my first amended return in my 55 years as a taxpayer. I won't make that mistake again.
What's great about it: Check and Recheck - Verify consistancy of inputs

Will continue to use in years ahead. Have used product for many years and appreciate the ease of entering data and progressing through the entries.
What's great about it: Excellent step-by-step guide; covered all the topics needed; made sure received all deductions permitted
What's not so great: Little confusing to find location to update when change identified

Easy and trusted

Turbo Tax is the best, easiest, economical, and trusted tax program. I think I've been using it for over 20 years now!
What's great about it: Easy -transfer from past year- Easy Step great guide
What's not so great: Had a couple places where the program stalled and had to restart-

Works Great

I've used Turbo Tax since before it was Turbo Tax (Parson's Tax, I think). Each year it has done a great job and I highly recommend using it. I was even audited one year and the result was Accepted as Filed. Great product.
What's great about it: Easy, fast, simple
What's not so great: Nothing

first time using turbotax

It took me ALL DAY, even after I had more receipts, forms, and $ amounts in front of me..... (I am 65, and husband is 74 with stage 4 cancer). We both get retirement and SS checks. Wasn't sure where to put SS info at first. Maybe I should've paid someone to prepare the taxes for me.........
What's great about it: saved me $
What's not so great: need a list at beginning of your program stating in order what's needed. dr is separate from hospital ?
