Only one glitch

I find TurboTax so intuitive overall. Makes doing taxes really pretty easy. The only trouble I had was when it came time to file my state taxes by mail. There was no option to do this other than to go back and print a second copy for my records. Kind of a hassle, but it wasn't too bad to work around. I just don't know if I need to send all the forms or not.
What's great about it: So glad to be back with Turbotax
What's not so great: Problem with printing a copy of state return.

Could have been a 5 but....

1099-G state tax refund info was entered followed by question: "business or farm"?? There was a note to confirm that box numbers indicated on TT coincided with those for your individual state, but that was not the issue. Too much confusion about such a small matter.

Turbo Tax EASY

I have used Turbo Tax for more than 20 years. I have never had a problem. They ask all of questions as relate to my return, including deductibles, other income, etc.
What's great about it: Asked all of the questions needed to complete my return.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved

Generally easy

Love the ease of this product. This is my just-out-of-college daughter's first year to sit down and learn how to do her own taxes. She was amazed at how easy it was for us to walk through everything. It was also easy to identify items that she needed to find to complete her filing information. GO Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: I love the dialogue step by step as long as I can go back and search for something that wasn't clear
What's not so great: Inputting 1099 B info was easier last year and allowed me to check typos more easily

Outstanding As Always

Have been using TurboTax every year since at least 1999. It's fast, accurate, and very intuitive. The biggest improvement I've seen in the past few years is the ability to download information directly for W-2s and almost all banking and investment accounts. This alone saves what used to be hours of work, searching multiple statements for needed information, and hoping that I entered it accurately and to the correct categories. E-filing is a breeze. Once I had assembled all of the information I needed to do my taxes, the actual work on TurboTax did not take more than 2 hours from start to finish.
What's great about it: Fast, Very intuitive. Easier to use every year.

Alls well but!!

On the work sheet you show D and E as two seperate items, but G is the sum loss of the two. Took me three days fo figure it oiur
What's great about it: Rest was the usuall easy entries
What's not so great: The new method for Capotal Gains took some time to get used too

Had trouble filing with Windows 2010

I had trouble filing this return because the employer did not provide the proper W2 and did not provide the right information on the W2C. Neither was the fault of TurboTax. TurboTax save a lot of time and trouble figuring out what forms had to be filed. Thanks for saving me all the time.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions and help from LEARN MORE prompts
What's not so great: Had trouble with getting files to work this year
