2015 Turbo Tax Program is a pain!
on March 27, 2016

I have used Turbo Tax for years and never had a problem. This edition was a royal pain. I got half way through my taxes and it would go into a "computing" loop that never ended. I had to restart my computer number of times before the program finally worked as it should.
Turbo Tax you have" bugs" that should have been fixed before you put the 2015 edition on the market.
What's not so great: Constant computer glitches

I liked how easy it was to use- I did have to start over once because I could not figure out how to delete a 1099 once I entered it, but after that it was a cinch!
What's great about it: step by step directions- hard to mess up
What's not so great: nothing

Overall, I have used TurboTax for more years than not in filing my taxes. By the time I get all the stuff together which by now is easier to do, it is not long to get it all put in the program. Thanks to TurboTax, tax time is less stressful!
What's great about it: Easy to use, all questions could be answered
What's not so great: Some difficulty with a form that did not need to be done
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I had to start my return over 2 times because an entry got in a spot where it should not have been. I could not delete it or remove it. Waste of a lot of time
What's great about it: Has good computation and ease of use. Has city return forms
What's not so great: some time an entry gets stuck in the wrong place and you cannot get it out
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Its good. Needs a few slight improvments

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and I like it as it works well and it is easy.
A few items needs improvement.
Why when reviewing deductions or adding deductions or doing anything with deductions does the system constantly ask for the address of certain deductions, specifically Goodwill and Salvation Army. It remembers the address but every time I go back to change add or do something with deductions it asks again for the addresses.. This seems rather meaningless and wasteful and is in general annoying..
Also if one needs to change the name on a deduction, the entire thing has to be deleted and then start over from the beginning. Your edit feature does not allow a complete edit, but rather just a partial edit. This should be fixed..
Need to improve the ability to save the final product. There are too many unnecessary steps. You should have the ability to just save to a file, (thumb drive or whatever) rather than needing to convert here and transfer there.
What's great about it: It works well
What's not so great: needs some work
