2015 Confiscation Exercise

For some reason, I have internet connectivity trouble while using any TurboTax product, including "Its Deductible". I had to reboot my computer multiple times while using "Its Deductible" and also anytime TurboTax was accessing info via the internet. Annoying but I got through it.
What's great about it: TurboTax is very easy, intuitive, and gets better every year (it seems)
What's not so great: TurboTax impacts my internet connectivity

Was pretty easy. Still have to get all the documents together but the import process for W2 and financial institutions worked better for me this year.

Turbo Delux

Only issue I had this time is with the 1099-R's. One was PD pension, other was a separate retirement account administrated by city with deductions coming from PD paycheck. When asked again if I worked as law enforcement this doubled the retired LEO health care deduction thus exceeding $3000 limit. Had to go back and delete entry and re enter second 1099-R, but stated I was NOT a LEO for this 1099-R

Great product overall -- like that I can e-file myself
What's great about it: Software does the math for you; math always correct

The program did not allow me to file unless I put in a middle initial in the name box during check out.. Plus could not use previous years info because I used a different ID last year.

I've been a turbo tax user for more than a decade. Product and services keep getting better. Now in retirement, turbo tax makes life easy.
What's great about it: Walk thru was great, flags are useful, efile is wonderful

2015 Turbo-Tax

Overall, still a good, good program.
What's great about it: Fast, easy steps walked me thru the whole thing.
What's not so great: A state filing should be included with the program. It used to be there.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
