Turbo Tax Review 2015

Easy to navigate and asked all the questions. Had a little trouble with adding the estimated tax payments I paid in 2015 but after reading the help files, I found it.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Last years comparison came later than I wanted.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Mostly easy to use

Turbotax would get held up thinking and display 'calculating' continuously. I could still go back a page but ran into the same problem when I tried to move forward. It would at least let me save and close the Turbotax program. When I reopened it it seemed to work again. This is on an iMac with latest software.
What's great about it: Good explanations along the way and links to more info
What's not so great: More than previous years the system seemed to get held up occasionally and wouldn't let me continue.

Problems with dividends

Stupid dividend section comes up under a financial institution, then ask info on the financial institution again!?!?!? Why???

What Did I Ever Do Without You, TurboTax?

I've used TurboTax for many a year now (probably 8?) and each year it seems clearer and easier! Especially because you can download it simply now. I'm sure that tax laws change yearly or even more often, but I don't worry about all that! This year, I was even warned to start paying in advance to avoid a penalty next year (I guess the Feds want you pretty even at the end of the year!). So, I will do that to be safe, but will also do more donations next year! It just can't get any more simple. I love TurboTax with a passion. Where would we be without it? I remember how horrible taxes were in the past. E-Filing is a dream. I have never had a problem with this company. Thank you so much for making a dreaded project so much more pleasant!
What's great about it: TurboTax is Easy! Clear, concise, brilliant, safe, secure and an education!
What's not so great: ?? What "cons"?

I spoke with Alexandria 2 nights in a row (what are the chances I would get the same person). She remembered me and carefully walked me through my tax return. I was having trouble because this is the 1st time I as filing after being married. She was great! knowledgeable, patient, encouraging. Such a professional! I was skeptical of leaving my number and expecting a call back but both nights, the call came within the expected time period and Alexandria was able to cheerfully answer all of my questions!
What's great about it: Live Help

turbotax ok

Takes a long time for the software to start up, I do have an old computer so maybe that is part of it, but other software starts up much more quickly. Also, there is a spot on the Ohio state tax return to enter your current address, but TT never queries for that info and leaves it blank on the form. Considering how much we pay for state tax forms, I would expect it to complete all areas of the form(s)
What's great about it: able to complete taxes
What's not so great: slow and did not fully complete Ohio tax form
