The interview style is pretty nice...but one complaint: The questions are layered like an onion; it asks a general question and you have to decide if it pertains to you or not. If it pertains to you, then you continue pealing away more layers and getting to more defined and specific questions. On numerous occasions, the general questions used a lot of jargon or omitted a description that made it difficult to determine if a category pertained to me (even in the "help" descriptions, they often did little to clear up confusion). So on many occasions I would have to GUESS that a category pertained to me so that I could then dig into the lower layers of the onion and get better, more clarifying explanations. In addition to being a waste of time in a few cases, it also creates a possibility of somebody guessing INCORRECTLY and skipping a category, thus leaving out information that applies to them. I suggest doing some focus groups of TAX-ILLITERATE common people and figure out if your "outter layer" questions and explanations make sense to people who are NOT tax experts. Like I said, once you got into those lower layer questions, they generally cleared things up, but that level of basic explanation could be made present earlier in each category.

I had to go into the "Forms" file and select which ones I needed and then had trouble getting the program to accept the completed forms into the 1040 calculations
What's great about it: TurboTax Deluxe will deal with them
What's not so great: Direct access in the program is difficult if not impossible

First Retirement

I retired in March 2015. For a variety of reasons I owed tax payments with return. Baby boomers are having tax issues that no one addresses. You should market a product called: "Turbo Retirement" that links the tax returns. Help people understand why their Soc Sec benefits became taxable. Why did my broker screw up my 401 k withdrawal!!!!! Your "help" is of assistance, but its not a good feeling. I have loved Turbo Tax from day 1, but you now miss my demographic.
What's great about it: Follows good order and tracks.
What's not so great: Not good on screen explaining retirement tax issues.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
