Would not load

It would not load on to Windows 10 and no real assistance was provided. There should be an option of a live person. Once into the program, after I had to get a consultant to help, it worked very well.
What's great about it: Once in the program it was excellent
What's not so great: Did not allow to load on Windows 10
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax Works Great

Only had one issue where I had to retype names of institutions in the Dividend Screen, even though they were carried forward from last year.
What's great about it: Online downloads from financial firms. Thorough walk-through of taxes. Simple e-file.
What's not so great: None

Used Turbotax Deluxe for more than 20 years

I use turbotax deluxe because it keeps track of all my carry forwards and transfers all the info from the previous year..
This reduces the amount of info that I need to enter each year.
Unless they change the coverage of the program as they did briefly for the 2014 tax year, I plan to stay with turbotax in the future.

What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Since 2014 tax year have to call to make sure that Deluxe still covers very small business and rental property.

The walk-throughs made this a simple and straight forward experience. Within a short amount of time I had my information entered and my returns filed. I have used this product for several years and plan to use it in the future.
