Great Program

Overall, a great program and easy to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use and navigate through. Seems accurate and detailed.
What's not so great: Kept on getting stuck on "calculating". Happened probably 10-12 times.

Always easy with Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax deluxe for several years now, it never fails to walk me through each step, each area that I might have deductions. I feel confident that we have completed our returns as accurately as possible.
What's great about it: walked me through each step
What's not so great: Getting started....it's my problem, not Turbo Tax!

wheres my free state efile

Improved isn't better!

Screen froze up several times. Had to reboot and reload too many times to count. Difficult finding deductions. Looped several times without telling me WHY. Had to go back and figure out what program did not like. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!
Used TURBO TAX for years. Never had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE like this before. NEW ISN"T BETTER!!!!!
What's great about it: excellent live support - he couldn't connect to my screen. but he was good.
What's not so great: Screen kept freezing up! Hard to find employment deductions!

several problems -

I had several problems. I could not reopen a saved file. I had to stop a process that hung on "calculating." Later, I ran into the spinning multicolored ball. I had to power down my computer to get out of that. Lost several hours trying to check entries and had to re-enter data.
I did not do the return in one sitting, but each time I "paused" - I saved the document. When I tried to reopen, it would only start a new return.

I hope nothing was lost with all these problems.
What's great about it: as usual, interview is a great help
What's not so great: could not restart partial tax return

2015 Taxes

I'm not sure what happened this year. The product seemed to have a few flaws and I could not trace the information from the worksheets back to the original input. Some explanations were given, but it took me hours to get it right. For the first time, I felt the need for a tax expert.
What's great about it: I have been using this product for years to complete my taxes. No audits yet and I feel competent.
What's not so great: This year, I had to input numbers several times. Each time the results differed. Manually changing data is not easy.
