I have been using Turbo Tax for years, but am not certain I will ever use it again. I wasted at least an hour or more waiting for it to "calculate," re-starting my computer and trying to scroll down pages to get to the "Continue" button. It was maddening to say the least.
This year, my 2014 file did not transfer and I had to waste time re-entering al of my info. The walk-through instructions were confusing, especially entering the data from my W-2.
What's not so great: Constantly gets caught up. Scrolling is nearly impossible on a Mac

I have been using Turbo Tax for 7 years and like that it keeps improving.
What's great about it: Ease of use and downloading of prior year data
What's not so great: Home and Business was at a better price point vs Deluxe and upgrade reminders

So easy to use, but so thorough!

I finally bought the Turbo tax disc , deluxe edition - took my time this afternoon and the software talked me through both Federal and State returns painlessly. I was guided to some deductions which 'a-not-to-be-named' tax prep company didn't find for me in the past. I'm one happy person.
What's great about it: For the first time in years I don't owe anything - I have a refund!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

What's great about it: Very helpful- Self explanatory and Very good I could call a technician when I got to a bump in the road- minor though
What's not so great: Just needed to be able to print my receipt for e-filing state taxes for 24.99, and also to print the efile confirm page

This year the form was very detailed and asked a lot of questions which didn't seem meaningful for my situation. There wasn't a way to by-pass the questions, so I did the best I could. This form and the corrections took about an hour to change so there weren't any errors. This form took longer than doing the rest of the return.
The forms changed this year so there was an adjustment.
What's great about it: Nonr
What's not so great: Very confusing
