TurboTax is amazing! It walked me through my tax preparation and was so easy to use!
What's great about it: It was fast amd easy
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Social Security Lump Sum Payment

I received a lump sum payment from Social Security Disability for years 2013, 2014, and 2015. This was effortlessly handled by TurboTax.
What's great about it: Extremely simple way to due lump sum calculations for several years

TurboTax always great

TurboTax is always great, we use to have our taxes done at a local tax prep place but as we needed more forms than the standard W2 we began to be charged a lot of money for those services. TurboTax brings you through all the sames steps they go through but without taking a large chunk of money from you at the end.

Overall Turbo Tax is pretty easy to use. I am using it for the last 5 years.
What's great about it: ease of going back and forth
What's not so great: a little hard to get information on less used items.

Income Tax

When we completed the E File process an error message appeared:
"We are having trouble processing your request"
The system referred to a helpline telephone number, but we
were told to go a INTUIT WEB site. We did not get an answer there
Than we separated the Federal tax payment from the state tax payment and than the payment for the federal tax was accepted. We had to mail the tax to the state.

Overall, very positive experience except for the calculating loop. I have used Turbo Tax for years and love it. You do need to fix the calculating loop.
What's great about it: Very simple to use.
What's not so great: The program kept getting stuck in the calculating mode.
