K1 Business Forms

K1 forms generated by Turbo Tax are almost impossible to get rid of. I followed the help instructions 3 times and wasn't successful
What's great about it: Turbo Tax was almost excellent - One Glitch
What's not so great: Turbo Tax generated K1 entries but I don't have a business

What's great about it: As usual, a very well put together product...except --> see 'Cons.'
What's not so great: To determine how to split a Fed. refund took a 'roadmap & an Indian guide.' Why make it so difficult to find?

Adding/removing Forms

After removing Schedule C from Federal Tax Filing, I had a hard time to remove the NJ Business Form that I didn't need. I think Turbo Tax should make the removal of unwanted forms or schedules easier.

TT keeps trying to sell me the next upgrade, I would think telling TT NO once would be enough, it just distracting. I know they are trying to increase profits but a little customer courtesy would go a long way. I guess I am still burning after last years TT stunt.
I believe I liked the old TT Deluxe (2013) the best.
After all that being said I do believe got my max. refund.

Super Duper Easy

Overall TurboTax made my submission of taxes non-stressful.
Just one area that was frustrating. During the smart check when going back to make changes it gives no instructions on how to make that change, i.e., if an entry has a zero in it and should be blank it doesn't tell you that. It would be great if there were specific instructions on how to make the correction needed. But over all, I am and have been for many years a turbo tax fan!

What's great about it: Taxes went like a breeze! Easy to understand
What's not so great: Smart Check not specific enough when changes need to be made.

Long Time Customer

I've used Turbo Tax since 2001 to file our federal tax returns. The software appears to get more user-friendly every year in spite of the increasing complexity of our unnecessarily confusing tax system. This year my wife & I had to deal with some life-changing financial events and we thought we might have to go through a CPA for our tax return preparation but Turbo Tax came through for us again. As a highly skeptical individual, Intuit should take my continued use and trust of Turbo Tax as high praise and a highly positive endorsement of their software. Thanks!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax gets more user-friendly every year
What's not so great: Shucks, I still have to pay taxes!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Been Using For Years

Great software. Some years had somewhat complex issues, Turbo Tax was able to navigate through them.
What's great about it: Don't need to be a CPA
What's not so great: When entering ESPP sales, it seems very complicated to breakdown
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
