Well worth the price

As I outlined in the 'Pros' section of this review, this software is quite well thought out and easy to use. You can select as you go if you want it to let you do your own thing, or if you would rather it hold your hand and guide you through it all.
It gets this done by using clear direct language to let you know just what it wants you to do in order to complete your taxes. If you do get unsure, or hit a snag and need further explanation of something, the help is right there. And I do mean right there. Everything is broken down so completely that you only deal with one thing at a time, and if you need more info about it you get that help from that exact spot on the form. No searching to tough to navigate help files. All and all great stuff.

My Refund

I changed both my marital and filing status, to do that, it recommended starting a new return, and it was very confusing as to how to proceed. Not as clear as the step by step instructions.
What's great about it: Easy, comprehensive
What's not so great: Not always clear how to proceed between some applications

This is a VERY easy program to complete taxes. Not quite as easy as shown on TV, but soooo easy to fill out the required forms. I've been using Turbo Tax for as long as I can remember.
What's great about it: very easy to complete

We had our taxes done by a professional for years. It took me too long to recognize that all they did was ask for the same forms over and over and then just enter the data. I actually get more back through Turbo Tax even though we don't cheat at all! We are very basic, though, so I don't know how well it handles extras such as rental property etc. Extremely happy :-)
