Wow ! That was simple

For years my wife and I used a commercial tax preparer and over the years the service fees became larger and larger. I was hesitant at using Turbo Tax because I was certain that it would gloss over and deductions that our preparer would ask about but much to my astonishment it asked about options I had no idea were out there. Now the only regret I have is wasting money on those other guys. Helpful, easy to navigate, user friendly and just a great product all around !
What's great about it: Easy to use software and covers the bases with pure simplicity

You need to be a 'pack rat' - keep everything, it'll come in handy

Easy but confusing

I am always excited at how quickly I can accomplish the daunting task of taxes....however, sometimes I am baffled by questions pertaining to forms I have received. I am not always sure how to answer questions and it would be helpful to have a reference guide available...maybe there is one online. I have never looked.

Worth it

First time user for 2014, went great! 2015 version does not seem as intuitive (pun not intended) but only on a minor level. Glitch pulling in return costs a few hours trying to fix. With no remedy in sight requested call from customer service, and received it almost exactly as program predicted, 35 minutes. CS was great, took about 20 minutes, no accent barrier, issue was not typical but got resolved, went really well. May try online next time, but either way, will go with Turbo next year.
What's great about it: Customer service great, store bought program almost as good
What's not so great: Glitch pulling in last year's return, needed customer service

I have been using turbotax online for few years, first time used turbotax desktop software. The same great experience, I love to use this.
