Each year turbo becomes more completcted

1. RRB1099-R does not line up with turbo tax program, trying to go back is very hard to fix or review spots. the flag marker does not work well. If your program keeps getting so hard it will be a waste of time trying to use this program.
What's great about it: step by step option
What's not so great: the program has several errors

2016 Turbotax

Good product and makes the ugly task much better!!
What's great about it: Really very easy after year one,as much of personal info if imported. Also, much is anticipated and flagged from prior
What's not so great: Had a bit of trouble entering the allowable mortgage points - it wanted to include all the points in first year.

Completed part time states residency

Its deductible was less detailed this year (should I have upgraded?). Two state filings as part time residents, more work and not super clear even with explanations.
I've used Turbo Tax for 18 years....while it is still very doable, I had to study up on a few areas myself. Links were there for review which was nice.

Help To change pass word

I never used a password Turbo tax for the last 10 years. This year I needed a password to import my data from the 2014 returns. With out the password, I could not access the 2014 document. It was impossible to create a new password with your instructions. An example is the question"who was your best friend when you were growing up" No matter what name was put down it was wrong. Back to square one.
Turbo needs a live person to call or at lease an email contact.

difficulty e filing

When e filing the federal return, kept getting a message to update software. Software had been updated many times. Had to research faqs. Followed directions, but still did not work. I waited until next day, updated software again and this time it did e file. Wanted to call company but Intuits phone number not readily available. This is why I downgraded the rating.
What's great about it: Program easy to use
What's not so great: e filing did not work for one day
