1099 DIV Entry

I had some boxes on my 1099 DIV from brokerage that were "uncommon". I missed the check box to display the "uncommon" boxes and drove myself crazy trying to figure out where I was to put it. Later found it and while it was my fault to not notice the check box to expand the data entry, it would help to just display all the boxes the way you do for W2 data entry.

2015 Refund

TurboTax always checks my work and makes appropriate suggestions. Always a joy the way it is laid out.
What's great about it: You double check everything
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Spotty in Places

I amended my return, but I can't be sure the amended return was filed. I got into a loop, and I am still wondering.
Also, I never took unqualified withdrawals from my 529s, but Turbo said I did, and increased my Federal income by $20,000. I had to manually change it to zero.

Wish we had more info sooner

After the income is entered, please provide deduction total amounts that would be necessary in order to make itemizing worthwhile. We went through entering everything just to be told that TurboTax would be using the standard deduction. If we had a guideline of total medical and other deductions required, it may have saved us a lot of work.

What's not so great: Would like a figure of deductions needed to make itemizing worth while
