So EASY

TurboTax is so easy to use - it literally walks you through each and every step and checks and double checks everything you do!
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to fill out, easy to understand
What's not so great: some parts did not understand but that is because I did not need

I highly recommend using the walk me through option. It takes a little more time but in the end, I knew exactly what all of the stuff meant and why I was or wasn't getting certain deductions.

Great program; saved me hours

Overall, this is a great product. Instructions are easy to follow. The walkthrough approach is very thorough. The help functions actually provide help. All forms were available.
Minor issue:The placement of yes/no pushbuttons on some interview questions can lead to confusion when they are mixed in with other text.
What's great about it: Interviews and pop-up help/explanation is a major plus
What's not so great: Need guidance for using previous years AGI to obtain a PIN for a MFJ return. Specify the same AGI for both filers??

The program would occasionally skip a page and I'd have to go back to the skipped page. It seemed to duplicate questions at times which appeared to me I had to enter data twice. Some info I thought was downloaded from my investment accounts didn't show up, or if it did, the program asked me to enter again. This was very confusing. Same goes for transfer from Federal to State returns -- some things I thought should have been transferred in either weren't, or I was asked to input again. The program did not seem to be as user friendly as in previous years.

What's not so great: When saved so could finish later, had to start over on certain areas
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Constant Improvement!

Best product out there. Turbo Tax continues to make the worst time of the year way less stressful !
What's great about it: Time it takes to go back in to a return to complete or edit has definitely improved.
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing!

I hated paying TWICE for a state return. This was NOT clear to me when I purchased the state return.
It had a bug in the state return that would not allow a "zero" be placed in state wages. I waited two weeks and with an update it finally worked.
No provision for what to do with an HSA refund from a medical provider that was placed on form 5498-SA but we did not participate in a HDHP in 2015. Really was a mess.
