Best Way to Go

This is the best way to do your taxes. The program asks questions you have not thought of. It would be nice however, if there were a human to talk with for questions.
What's great about it: easy and complete. Even I can do it

Best thing since apple pie. This is so easy to use. Explanations are terrific. Maybe show tax rate would be nice. I think I remember tax rate in earlier versions.

1099-MISC only problem

I love how accurate Turbo Tax is, but every year there is at least one program error. This year it was that any entry from a 1099- MISC always created a sole proprietorship business and a schedule C. The only work around was to enter the amount as Other Income without a 1099-MISC which defeats the purpose of entering a 1099-MISC. I hope this is corrected for next year.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax knows its stuff
What's not so great: Tries to generate a schedule C for any 1099-MISC Box 3 entry.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've been using turbotax for many years and have never had a problem or had a return rejected. Please keep up the good work.

We have been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years. It is easy to use. It helps you find all of the deductions you are entitled to --unlike many of the accountants who only enter what you know to bring to them. I am confident in the calculations. If the government requires the filing of tax returns, the returns should be such that a regular person can file without an accountant. I think Turbo Tax gives us that option.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to use
What's not so great: I don't have to pay an accountant. :(
