Buggy, had to quit the program and restart twice

I have used TuroTax since 2009. This is the first version that seemed to have bugs.
What's great about it: Excellent preparation of my taxes
What's not so great: Program hung twice in calculations and froze my computer once.

Great time saver!

Recommend Turbo Tax for users unsure of what they're doing and want to do it properly. My husband's an accountant but I am math challenged. He insisted I try to do our taxes myself this year and without the assistance of your program I would have dissolved into a bucket of tears. Thank you!
What's great about it: Question/answer format makes it easy even for idiots.
What's not so great: Not enough detail on what to do in event of death of filer.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

So much better than HRBlock!

I had purchased the HRB version because of last year's issues regarding small businesses. But I didn't like the user interface with theirs, so bought a copy of TT Deluxe to compare. Found HRB had made one error, and failed to apply Medicare premiums to health insurance on Sched A!
What's great about it: Properly handled two items messed up bu the HRB version!
What's not so great: --

2015 KY and FED tax, Turbo Tax Delux Program

I contacted support because I couldn't complete the e filing portion, after all testing and much work, it was decided I had a glitch in my hardware. We were able to transfer all backup files I had to a laptop. We then downloaded an online Turbo Tax program which wouldn't load into my desk top pc. It loaded fine onto the laptop and I was able to insert my completed files into it with no extra work and e file both programs.
I had wonderful help from three different tech support ladies, they were all great and the last one built on the testing of the others and figured out how to make it work when she learned I had a laptop here too to compare problems with. I'm very happy with Turbo Tax

What's great about it: Program is great, it answers questions and has access to on line and phone support, which I used for a glitch of my PC

Delux TurboTax is a Good Buy

This years edition of turbotax was decent. I notice that the was less help than in year past and the help boxes has a really tiny font. I'm bummed that they're dropping XP support for 2016. This means I have to go out and buy a new computer if I want to use turbo tax next year. I did notice that it took a long time to load at time but over all the product worked well and has continued to work well over the years.
What's great about it: Fast, efficient, and accurate.
What's not so great: Dropping XP support in 2016, less help than in years past

Turbo Tax is the easiest tax software on the market.
You do not need to be an accountant or tax expert.
The step by step process walks you through every aspect and provides help screens in any area that you may need additional help.
Once you review everything you just send and you are done!!!
I have tried another brand Once and that was enough !!!
Have been a loyal Turbo Tax user for well over 15 years and will remain one !!!

Hardest year ever

Did not transfer enough information so that I had to go back and HUNT for things like: Head of Household, and Student's age and status...
Just a very frustrating experience this year.
I have used TT for 6 years now, and this is the first time I have experienced so much frustration.
Don't know what I will do next year.

What's great about it: your support people were great
What's not so great: lots of bogging down and mis-information about what I needed to pay and why
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
