easy to start,
easy data entry
healthcare was complicated
printing is not straight=forward, and there is no exit procedure.
saving a pdf, does not specify whether it saves fed, state, or both
there is no easy way to save a SIGNED copy of what was filed
Wasn't sure which version of Turbotax to purchase, so when it was finished, you included a step to UPgrade, but not DOWNgrade.
you should have sent an email in January recommending a version, based on last years filing.
there should be no charge for efiling a state return

A Dream Come True

I enjoy that the program is easy to follow, Can pick up investment income direct from the sources , and compares my expenses to national average.
Also , cost is nominal , particularly when compared to having an accountant prepare the return
What's great about it: Ease of operation
What's not so great: Too long , but not your fault
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Could be clearer

I've used TurboTax for years and always think I have things figured out. Then I get some message from TT telling me there is an error in what I have done and asking me to correct it. The problem is, I am never really clear about what is wrong and I am not given good info by the program. I've said for years, I don't mind paying taxes but I hate doing them.
What's great about it: Easy to add information, does calculations
What's not so great: Not always clear when there is a problem

Why did the print function print the Federal return twice?

I have used Turbo Tax ever since it became available except for a couple of times I tried another program, but I have always come back to Turbo Tax. This year I found the program very user unfriendly. I had to keep going back to check answers and it took quite some time to just efile my federal return. I was not pleased at all.
What's great about it: Guides you along the way.
What's not so great: Not very user friendly. I have used Turbo Tax forever, but this year I found it very user unfriendly.

Problem with Mac use in 2015

Was very disappointed that I had problems with using Turbo Tax for 2015 with a Mac. I have used TT for years but first time with a Mac. Will continue but think Intiut should compensate in some way for the multiple times I needed to close program and re-enter.
What's great about it: Love the Turbo Tax format
What's not so great: Had Mega Trouble with Mac

TurboTax has worked for me forever!

I have been using the product since its inception. It has never been difficult to use and it seems that each year it becomes easier to do so.
What's great about it: So very simple to use and it covers everything I need.
What's not so great: Sometimes I would like to see the form I just worked on.
