Easy Tax Return

TurboTax makes it easy to do taxes in one sitting - one to two hours if you itemize and have all your records together.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step-by-step instructions; pop-up calculator with paste command.
What's not so great: None

Trouble with State Return

Everything going great until it was time to file the State return -- nothing but problems. Turbo Tax offered fix to wipe out everything and reload Turbo Tax. I printed and filed by mail.

Started at 9 am and finished by noon, easily covered all aspects of the process and felt relieved when finished.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy

Worked again

I always use the EZ Step. So much better than what i used to do with a pencil and tax forms.
Breezed right through it again this time, for the federal taxes. The state taxes not so much. I clicked on the wrong box answering questions about Michigan -- I moved here from Florida, where there are no state income taxes. I was not familiar with anything about Michigan, and couldn't get Turbo Tax to take me back to the screen where I checked the wrong box.
It took going into the forms to find out how to fix my error. The EZ step never would take me back there.
Bottom line -- Turbo Tax is worth what I paid -- again.
What's great about it: Easy step is always the way to go. Too easy!
What's not so great: Trouble with Michigan
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

As Always, TurboTax Does It All!

I've used TurboTax for many years and write the same review consistently. My review cam be summed up in the title of this review ("As Always, TurboTax Does it All") and the Pros ("Comprehensive and yet simple to use"). I cannot add anything further; this says it all!
What's great about it: Comprehensive and yet simple to use.
What's not so great: None.

Seems much simpler and easier to use this year .
What's great about it: Understandable and logical layout, format, and questions.
What's not so great: How to get Adobe loaded for a printout (I'll get it filed then see)

I have been using TT since I retired from the Navy 13 years ago.
it is a great product, just a few minor inconveniences
my only issue is it would be nice if it would give you the option of populating the non monetary fields from the previous year.
it also should show you what it imports.
