Indiana State Return

Bonus Depreciation add-back - have to go through Forms & enter under Sched 1 -- not in the interview part causing extra time & confusion to enter. Same with "certain taxes deducted from federal Schedules C, C-EZ, E, & F". Need better instructions/help for State returns.
What's great about it: data entry easy for many things
What's not so great: Couple items have to key in thru the Forms method

I.m done without crying or draining my petty cash

Turbotax got the job done, however, I felt as if I was missing some data. Maybe I asked the wrong questions, I'm not sure. It was difficult, time consuming trying to figure out my AGI. I needed someone to just explain to me to write the amount without the comma whether it is 6 or 5 digits, ??? I gave up and just called the IRS which was faster. It was my pleasure to speak to all your Customer Service staff, they were patience, not always helpful, but pleasant. Thank God for your MAC people especially Ashley, she was quite helpful. Thank you. I'm done.

What's great about it: As usual it is much easier to get prompts to remember deductions
What's not so great: The program kept getting stuck, which was very frustrating. This has never been an issue before.

So easy to use year after year

Very easy to use and gives confidence in filing. W2 download feature is awesome. Automatically imports data from previous years which saves huge amounts of time.
What's great about it: Even a non rocket scientist can use it.
What's not so great: none

only minor problems

I like it because you can enter the data without the coaching if you want to.
The deductions drive me nuts because it won't automatically alphabetize the charities. That must be done by hand.
The other mine gripe i have is that the tab function doesn't work in all cases to go from entry to entry (maybe thats for safety?).
What's great about it: accurate and easy to navigate
What's not so great: deductions are not alphabetized

I bought the Federal and State Returns TurboTax and thought I wouldn't have to pay the state payment at the end like I had to in previous years. Boy, was I surprised when I got to the end of the tax preparation. Before I could efile my state taxes, low and behold, there it was; a cost to efile my state taxes. I guess some things never change.
What's great about it: Quick and easy. Explains well.
What's not so great: Pay for state
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
