A little aggravation!

All went well until I tried to pay for my e-file state return. I kept timing out on the 6 digit code sent by email. The slower authentication method appeared not to work. But finally success, so all is well:)
What's great about it: TurboTax is pretty easy to use
What's not so great: Paying for the state e-file is tiresome

Most years Turbo Tax has worked well for me, however this year the Colorado State return have an incorrect CO income tax withheld number that makes my return greater then the taxes that were deducted (line 38). I rechecked my financial entries multiple times and they are correct and my federal taxes are correct. I don't have any idea where the error came from.

Using Turbo-Tax

When doing my tax for Maine, I used the "Guide" choice. The screen was saying there was an error on an "NR" form because there was not a "1" online 5a. That was wrong, there was a "1" on line 5a.
What's great about it: Very to use
What's not so great: There is an error when doing my tax for Maine.

Another year a great program

Have used turbo tax for 20+ years and love the program. New this year is bring my adp payroll info in to the program automatically when you give it access. Really like the program and taxes, somewhat complicated are done in 4 hours or less including accumulation time. We use quicken to and that makes it easier yet after I remember how to run the necessary reports.
What's great about it: brings to mind things that you do not think of
What's not so great: did I get everything and can we just once and for all organize the donation list alpha automatically

Disappointed

I was disappointed that Turbo Tax did not find the Retirement Savings Credit for me. I had to learn that I qualified. Think Turbo Tax should have alerted me.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Have to Know Credits for which you Qualify

State review was very helpful

Last year I used H & R Block because of the changes Turbo Tax made last year. It was changed but only after I had already purchased H & R and started on my return. This year's Turbo Tax did not pick up the numbers form last year's return. It did auto fill most of my personal info, probably from other years.
When I wanted to review a section or change something because I realized I had entered something incorrectly, it was sometimes difficult to get to the screen I wanted. I started at the beginning of the section I needed to revisit, but it skipped what I wanted. I eventually got to that page in a round about way---sometimes by going to forms. It seemed that once I had submitted some info, it was not easy to see that screen again.

What's not so great: Return to previously asked questions and failure to pick up last year's numbers.
