Why does the box I purchased say Federal + 0ne state, but when I efile I have to get out my payment option to pay for the state?

Unclear instructions on using IRS issued IP PIN

Better instructions needed, clearer form, and assurance that the process of entering two PINs is correct. Many millions of taxpayers have experienced identity theft.
What's great about it: Great software for uncomplicated returns
What's not so great: Entered IRS IP PIN but still used 5 digit PIN to efile, very confusing and still don't know if it was done right.

I LIKE THE DETAILED CHECK OF ALL THE POSSIBLE DEDUCTIONS AND AID WAS AVAILABLE WHEN NEEDED WITH GREAT EXPLANATIONS AND ADVICE, ALONG WITH GOOD DIRECTION. I SPENT LESS TIME DOING MY TAXES THAN I HAVE EVER DONE. USING TURBO TAX HAS TAUGHT ME HOW TO KEEP THE TAX INFO I ACCRUE DURING THE YEAR ORGANIZED SO I AM READY TO GO WITH ALL THE PERTINENT INFO ALREADY GATHERED UP WHEN I SIT DOWN TO BEGIN THE RETURN.

I have been filing my family returns for more than 5 years with Turbo Tax. Used another vendor my first year, Turbo tax is the best!

Excellent Software

Overall I have no complaints. I have used this software for over ten (10 years and I plan to continue.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Appropriate questions. I was able to prepare both mine and my sons.
What's not so great: I mistakenly put info in the Alimony box. Even though I deleted the info, I kept getting an error.

What's not so great: When the updates are downloaded and it says it will automatically restart it never has. I complain about this each year
