TurboTax is Easy & Thorough

I've used TurboTax for about five years now. It seems to get easier each year. Remember when I had to provide taxpayer ID for charity; now don't have to. It walks you through everything.
What's great about it: Easy, walks you through each step, handy tools--like how to calculate value on donations, and inexpensive.
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

Good, but a little glitchy this year around HSA's

This is the first year I have had the application hang - twice - where I had to quit the application (force quit one time and lost what I entered). Not sure if it is because I used a Mac this year and a Windows PC other years (maybe it isn't quite as bug free on Mac's), or if it was just situational. Otherwise I find this application to be easy to use, and saves a lot of money and time compared with going to expensive accountants when my taxes are easy to do.
What's great about it: Always like seeing the tax refund or owed amount in real time
What's not so great: Not clear when credits are applied
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

still the best

started using MacInTax when it first came out and continued until husband retired and took over. He also used turbotax, but on a PC. He died in 2015 so I'm back to turbotax. Since I hadn't done the taxes for a number of years I used the take me through it option instead of the I can do it myself option. We'll see how everything turns out, but I have every confidence.

Easy to use

Turbo Tax is the standard. Just like a Crescent wrench or a Kleenex. If you are doing your taxes, you reach for Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: I can move past the tutorial and just enter my information
What's not so great: Shouldn't have to re-enter my checking account for each state I file in

Very Nice

I have used Turbo Tax since 1997 to file my personal and sole proprietor business taxes. They have continued to improve the product over the years. I am impressed at how they manage to get me the lowest taxes due, all done automatically as I simply click and type in the information asked for. I am very glad they got it right this year, too, with allowing us to use the same Deluxe product to file Schedule C for us (very) small businessmen, without upgrading to a more expensive product. Thanks for listening to us Intuit!

Fairly simple for an uncomplicated return

We use it every year, and the updates are very good this year. Some questions, especially with regards to higher education credits, can be confusing.

Better Then The Past- Still Only a C+

If I didn't have to reboot the program four times and re-enter data I could have completed my taxes in less than 60-minutes. Still took three plus hours to complete.
What's great about it: The whole program flowed better than the past several versions, seemed easier to understand and work with
What's not so great: Program would get stuck in a loop that required rebooting program

this is my second year of using Turbo tax and I can't believe how simple the program is and covers every item you need to complete your taxes.
What's great about it: how the program walked you through every detail, very easy to follow
