I have been using Turbo Tax for years, and find it to be a very good option for my tax return. My joint family return is not as complicated as some peoples are but I believe Turbo Tax would make a more difficult one fairly easy to follow as well. Keep up the good work.

Excellent Income Tax Tool

Turbo Tax remains a very effective, comprehensive tool to complete the annual task of filling out and completing your income taxes. Each (yearly) version of the software seems to enhance the ease of using the software.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate; very intuitive; detailed
What's not so great: Some areas can get a little confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Really Frustrating This Year

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have never been so frustrated and disappointed as this year. At several points throughout the process, the program would get stuck "calculating" and the only way I could move forward was to quit the program. The first time I lost all of my work and had to start completely over. It happened 2 more times after that, but luckily I had saved my work periodically and was able to pick up from where I left off. Doing taxes is stressful and time consuming enough without dealing with a program that didn't work correctly. I have previously thought Turbo Tax was great and so easy. This year - not so much!
What's great about it: Got my taxes done
What's not so great: Program kept getting stuck on "Calculating"

A Great Product

I really do love TurboTax. We use this product almost every year because it is very easy to use. It goes step by step and walks you through the process with not a whole lot of changes. I also like the consistency of the product so that each year it doesn't change the whole flow. It is so easy to use and I can enter all my data very easily.
What's great about it: It walks you through the process step by step
What's not so great: Just a lot of steps that don't apply to my situation
