great filing help

It would be helpful after completing the questions if one were provided a list of forms needed, for example w-2s, 1099s, medical and dental charges, etc.
What's great about it: quick to file once have all information requested
What's not so great: Need a list of necessary information prior to starting turbotax

Setting Up Password

Taxes were easy to complete especially since prior years information was already entered for me.
What's not so great: No matter what letters & numbers I set up as a password for an Intuit Acct., it said already used

except in PA State your wording lacked one word.
What is the "taxable" annuity amount? ( In quotes is the missing word.)
What's great about it: easy to use, clear. did all the complicated stuff without my reading to figure it out

minor problems

After K-1 info entered, step by step didn't work - had to go to form. Couldn't find where to enter date for estimated tax payments. Couldn't find anywhere that the estimated tax payments would be made automatically. Didn't like that during the reviews that we got "flagged" for info that had not been requested yet.
Liked turbo tax program for 2014 better - easier.

What's not so great: K-1 hard to find after already entered; couldn't find where to enter dates for estimated tax payments.

Good Job Made Easy

This is the 20+ year I've used Turbo Tax. A great product that makes the onerous tax task of citizenship bearable.
What's great about it: Walked me thru everythng with easy-to-undestand explainations when I asked.
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

Difficult to print returns to mail.

I have used TurboTax for more than 23 years. Usually, it has been a pleasant experience in spite of occasional minor glitches. This year, however, I was unable to print my returns for mailing and saving in the step by step method. Eventually, I found a workaround and printed the returns.
What's great about it: As usual, well organized and reasonably easy to follow in the step by step method.
What's not so great: Unworkable print return for mailing in the step by step method.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
