Soild Tax prep software!

Could NEVER do taxes by hand again!!!
What's great about it: No glitches...
What's not so great: Still have to research a few things to understand if they apply or not.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used Turbo Tax for years and it never fails to perform well. It's always been a very good system for me. My taxes are very straightforward and Turbo Tax has always worked well.
What's great about it: Great tool
What's not so great: Some items need a little explaination

After many years of using Turbo Tax, I will not be purchasing it any more. I have several other family members who are now using a competitor program without all these "charges" so I will be switching.
Would have given 5 starts but these charges SUCK!!
What's great about it: easy instructions
What's not so great: unavoidable charges

EASY SPEASY

Even with all the changes that I felt created some confusion I still appreciate what Turbo Tax provides for those of us that have simple tax filing requirements. Mine is straight forward and little time that I have to do the task it was doable.
What's great about it: It took 15 minutes from start to finish. Nice references that left little question whether I qualified or not. TKS
What's not so great: some changes were confusing from last years guided tour.

Fast and Easy

Great program. I have used it for many years without a glitch. I can do my taxes in about an hour. The e-filing is great.
What's great about it: Transfering last years info and downloading from my Broker.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
