Surprised at the amount of state refund

Easy to use. Has made improvements over the years to make the directions more easy to follow. Fills out all paperwork associated with your deductions. Have been using Turbo Tax for about 12 years and have not been audited or have any knowledge of errors on our tax returns.
What's great about it: Easy to use, explains topics in detail, looks for all possible deductions
What's not so great: Not always easy to go back to certain areas to make changes.

Simple and Complete

I have used TurboTax for several years now and will continue to use it for future income tax submissions. I love the easy, step-by-step format. I know that my tax form is completed accurately when using TurboTax

I had problems

Starting where I entered the Identity Protection PIN I experienced A frozen system "Calculating" that did not stop until I backed up one or two screes. This continued on and off until I was finished the state input.
It was very scary and amplified my worry about the system keeping my Identity Protection PIN.

What's not so great: Not being able to see the IRS Identity Protection PIN and screen freezing on "Calculating"

Solid as usual

Good product as usual. I've been using Turbo Tax since mid 00's and not had any real problems to speak of. Other than the Great Schedule D Fiasco of '14, the only time I seem to have any issues is when some of my financial institutions, mostly local Credit Unions (not on the partner list) or Chase Bank (for some reason I always need to hand enter their info even though they are on the partner list).
I think Intuit did themselves some harm last year but they seem to have made it right for now. All I can recommend is that they stay straight with their current customers regarding any changes and keep putting out a decent product for a good price.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Handles most forms without issue.
What's not so great: Still not linked with several financial institutions.

At times, it would have been helpful to view the 1040 as sections were completed in order to determine I had not missed anything and to confirm I was entering information correctly.
What's great about it: Step-by-step walk-through
What's not so great: Unable to view actual tax form as sections being completed.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
