Overall, the program continues to get better each year The navigation through the process the first time is reasonably intuitive and organized.
One place to improve is to allow the user to move directly to specific areas for editing a second or third pass. Using the step-by-step approach requires going through many steps to get to the specific one desired.
What's great about it: Detailed instructions and links to help and tips
What's not so great: Inability to quickly navigate to some areas

2015 Tax Form Review

Seemed to be easier than some years. When I wanted to review 1099 entries, I had to click edit, then rewrite some of the entries. All I wanted to do was to check numbers entered.
What's great about it: Straight Forward - have used for many years
What's not so great: When reviewing entries for 1099, required to re-enter information.

Easy as Pie

Turbo Tax still a great product. It's Deductible not as helpful as past years. E-file of State returns a little pricey, should be included in the price.
Providing a Nickname is a joke. After 5 tries I give up.
What's great about it: Set by step asked the questions to make you think about additional deductions.
What's not so great: It's deductable did not include options that were there last year. To pull down list reduced from last year.

Pretty good, few complaints

Great overall, but TurboTax 2014 was better because it never froze up on me (unlike this year's version)
What's great about it: Quick, easy, effective
What's not so great: Occasionally froze up. More bugs than last year

Fast and Sweet!

TurboTax has come a long way in preparing tax returns. The only suggestion I can make would be to autofill some of the blocks on the Form W-2 to help speed the process.
What's great about it: Quick and to the point questions
What's not so great: Didn't autofill W-2's

Easier to Use than Ever

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. As I got more used to the format, I did more of the tax info entry directly from the forms menu rather than the interview process. I have found that the forms process is easier and more transparent to use allowing for faster data entry and checking. Even the interview process is more streamlined than in the past. Turbo Tax's ability to pre-fill documents and forms with basic information from the previous year is a great help in getting to the heart of financial data entry quickly and also allows for easy two year comparisons. I continue to have confidence in Turbo Tax and look forward to continuing to use it in the future.
What's great about it: I mainly use the forms approach as I know what I need to enter and Turbo Tax is making the process easier than ever.
What's not so great: Could work on covering exceptions such as non-taxable state pensions better or flagging this exception.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years now and have always got a good return and it is very easy to use and economical.
What's great about it: Easy, quick and efficient
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
