Another easy tax return

TurboTax is so easy. I've used it every year since 2011. I can't imagine doing my taxes any other way, without actually hiring someone to do it for me. Two hours and I'm done and looking forward to getting my refund check!
What's great about it: Easy, straight-forward, reliable, trust-worthy

Made filing simple!

Turbo Tax 2015 was easy to use. All items were worded clearly and easily understood. Help was available when needed for out-of-the-ordinary situations. I have used Turbo tax since 2007 and intend to use it again next year.
What's great about it: All items were easy to read and understand. Help was available when needed.

Very easy and thorough

Overall it was very easy and thorough but I was a little confused during the mortgage deduction portion just because my lender sold my loan to another lender and so I had 2 lenders. One sent me a complete Form 1098 and the other sent a Form 1098 Substitute. Otherwise I think I entered everything correctly.
What's great about it: Step by step easy
What's not so great: A little confusing w/my mortgage deductions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2015 Turbotax FREEZES

I have used Turbotax software for over 10 years and 2015 CD has been the worse! Screen freezes and I have to close the program in the task manager constantly then wait for the program to open again. It took me 5 days to finish our returns for my two adult children and my husband and I.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: PROGRAM FREEZES EVERY 10 MINUTES
Pros: I bought or sold investments

State a little better this year

In reconciling State, it asks for any difference between State and Fed. The State did not include SSA payments as a difference. While obvious to me, the computers might baulk.

I used to prepare my returns by hand. I was trained and was the tax helper in the USAF. I made sure all our guys got the max they were entitled to. Your software would have been a godsend if we had it then. I have used your software for many years and will continue to use it as long as I have to pay taxes. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: takes out the confusion
What's not so great: Wish they would just go ahead and include the fee for the state in the cost.
