2015 TurboTax Program

I have used Turbotax since the DOS years. It is reliable and consistently improved upon, although I do remember a year or two it was a little tough figuring out schedule K. I would not consider using another program although I am familiar with a couple as a result of helping friends who had bought the wrong program from someone else.
What's great about it: Easier to use this year
What's not so great: kept telling me I was done when it wasnt
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Very Easy

No place to put the expenses for farm rental upkeep such as the equipment used. Only asked for truck expense

Best tool for Tax prep I've seen

I've used TurboTax for 10-12 years and only went off reservation one time with Tax Cut, and it's not on par with TurboTax. TurboTax always imports relevant information from the previous years so it saves some typing. The most difficult thing is manually going through all the various forms; W-2, 1099's of various ilk, K-1, property taxes, mortgage, Charitable contributions, etc, and there's not much TurboTax can do for that. This year I was able to import from my brokerage so the process was much shorter. If you're new to TurboTax, you should use the step-by-step, but now I just work through the ones that are relevant to me. To top it all off, it's maintained a running Roth IRA deposit total since I opened it so it's easy to find the basis of my Roth investments for both my spouse and I in the event I need to take make a withdrawal.
What's great about it: Using Deluxe was able to import data from brokerage house simplifying the process immensely
What's not so great: Can't think of one ...

GREAT PROGRAM!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and I love it! I have total faith in it's reliability and I trust it to find the right answers and amounts. All of the detail is built in and easy to use, it will take you step by step, or it will allow you to skip steps that you are sure of .
What's great about it: Easy to use, reliable, trustworthy, well worth the cost.
What's not so great: absolutely none!

Printing

When Turbotax downloaded information from my financial institution, Fidelity, it did it twice, giving me two entries of the same data for both short term and long term capital gains and losses. After I finally was able to correct that problem, I no longer was able to print. Selecting print led me to a print review, but I could not find a way to command it to print. Now I am stuck, with no way to complete.
What's great about it: Helped me enter all my data
What's not so great: Downloads and printing
