It would not accept the filing and said I had to amend a form but did not tell me how to do it or where to find it. Dumb. Probably done with TurboTax.

Turbo Tax Deluxe Keeps Crashing

Very buggy software. Called customer support and they had me delete all files on my computer and download a fresh version. Fresh version did the same thing. When you would get to a calculation point, it would hang and the only way to get out of it was to close the program.
What's great about it: I finally finished my taxes
What's not so great: Software crashes at every calculation point

Ease to follow and input by areas helps. Areas to help/research easy to follow, but not completely logical. That may be in part due to the tax laws complications. Remember needs to speak english and not tax legalize.
What's great about it: ease to follow and significant help in more tecnical areas,
What's not so great: needs for more help and cost factors.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I don't know why I didn't start using it before. Easy to use and easy to file. Cut my preparation time in half and printouts are great for record keeping and audit trail.
What's great about it: So easy!

the medical is cumbersome because I did not have separate numbers for pro fees, lab and xray. all these are itemized as hospitals and clinics totaled monthly by my insurance. Lots of time to go back and redo the items and totals.be nice if each agency was on the same page.
What's great about it: free efile, easy to follow
What's not so great: helpful if before submitting medical decuctions the needs were itmized. such as lab and xray separate, https://search
