Overall it was a good experience.
What's great about it: Didn't have to developed spread sheets or download IRS forms. Fewer calculations and entries which reduced errors.
What's not so great: First year of use so took a little time to understand. Had some problems with additional sales tax deductions.

Not-so-good

Had to reboot several times. Got frozen in "calculating" several times.

OsX Yosemite 10.10.5,

2015 Taxes Done Easy

Been using Turbo Tax for years and find no one cares about my money more than me. This works. Downloading the stock statements directly from broker is a big hit.
What's great about it: Step by step for a complicated return
What's not so great: Did not understand one error had to go to IRS for business code

Screen-to-screen quirk

Software is as good or better than last year with one exception. In several instances, after hitting the continue button, the next screen did not appear. Upon hitting the Windows view tasks icon, I found that the 'hidden' screen was out there, it just did not appear. This is quirky, although not a show stopper. I continued with completing my returns and might investigate later.
What's great about it: Written in plain English, easy to follow
What's not so great: Some screens 'hid' behind my Windows pane

This is about the 10th year I've used Turbo Tax to file personal and business taxes for my family. It's easy to use, the pages have clear directions, and you can do a few pages each day saving your work.
What's great about it: Step by step process

TurboTax is a pleasure to use...I can sleep well at night knowing that my taxes have been done accurately and that I have received the maximum possible refund!
What's great about it: Ease of use; Walked me through every single step and quality controlled the results.
What's not so great: None
