I've been using Turbo Tax for many years, it's my go to, get it done software that gets better every year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step process
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to Use

Very easy to use. Straightforward navigation. Help topics were understandable (did not need to be an accountant to understand the topic). I've been using TurboTax for 20 years or so and I will continue using it in the future too.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Good Navigation

Beginning to dissapoint

I have used TurboTax for the past three years. While convenient, every successive year has become increasingly more time consuming to complete my taxes. With my return being nearly as simple as it gets I find it off-putting that it takes more than an hour to complete my return. Perhaps if I went with the mail in state return and mailed refund instead of direct deposit I would not have had nearly as many hoops to jump through.
What's great about it: The ability to access stored files and simplistic language used.
What's not so great: Convenience always comes at a price. paying for a state e-file or deducting from a tax refund resulting in a fee.

Great Software experience

The hardest part of doing my taxes was the preparations prior to starting with Turbo Tax. It's great to have the ability to compare with last years return to make sure you aren't missing something. For us things don't change too much from year to year. I also like the review process and the error checking capabilities.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow prompts and enter the data
What's not so great: Some of the help was not always clear. Also it was very small print and hard to read

Mislead

When I purchased this Deluxe version, as I had for years, I assumed it came with a free state e-file, again as it had for years. I was very disappointed.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: no free state
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
