Updater nightmare

Have used this program since 1995. It usually works great. The updater is not playing well with Windows 10. Spent 4 hours looking for solutions. None of which were on intuit's pages. Turned out to be an ownership issue with the Intuit program data files folder. Get "Take Ownership". Run it on the Program data folder for Intuit and the problem goes away. Intuit should be on top of this issue.
What's great about it: Program is excellent
What's not so great: Updater is bad

What a refund!!

My refunds were so large I thought I'd finally won the lottery!! The ONLY issue I had was understanding how to proceed when I first loaded the disc, as the installation didn't run automatically (I had to refer to the instructions in the box). After that, tho, everything was easy-schmeasy.
What's great about it: Everything is very easy to follow. This is "Taxes for Dummies"!!
What's not so great: Actually opening the program after loading the disc was confusing.

Stopped twice this year

Not sure why it did not finish the report without having to stop and reload twice.......but did get it done
What's great about it: Been using this since 1997 and will always enjoy it.
What's not so great: first year it stopped but did reload and kept going

User Friendly

Please do not lose the support for XP. There are many of us out there who have neither the desire nor the funds to move on from a very stable Windows XP environment. The newer operating systems take too long to learn and waste equipment.
What's great about it: As if I were talking to a tax accountant
What's not so great: Wish next year's TurboTax were available for XP
