TurboTax saves time

I've used TurboTax for roughly two decades - along time. Yes, there are less expensive alternatives but having worked in the tax field - TurboTax is always number one in accuracy. Some areas I would like TurboTax to improve on are:
- Persist all responses
- Do a better job in recruiting common financial institutions in supporting their export tool
- Their That's Deductible was far weaker this year than any previous year. They need to return to the older format which basically found every item via E-Bay

What's great about it: Immense time saver, Ensures compliance with current rules
What's not so great: Some exports are weak/missing, Doesn't persist all responses

Turbo Tax account

The only part of the filing process that was a bit difficult was accessing an old account with Turbo Tax to make payment for my return. I couldn't seem to get the password (did access my user ID.) Went ahead and paid without setting up an account, which was actually pretty easy.
What's great about it: Let me pay without account
What's not so great: Couldn't get passwork from old account

Worked Well

The Pro entry sums up a lot of the reasons that I continue to use TurboTax each year. I like being guided through the steps even though I have used this program for so many years that I probably could do the taxes without the guidance.
What's great about it: Information saved from last years return substantially decreases the amount of time one has to spend entering data.
What's not so great: Moved the sale of stocks out of the Deluxe Edition

Smart and Intuitive

I've always been intimated by the very idea of filing taxes by myself so off to the accountant every year. So user friendly that it has given me the confidence to finally take charge, file taxes myself , which will lead, i now realize, to smarter financial decisions going forward. I'm shocked. incredible product.

2015 Turbo tax Awesom

What's great about it: easy to use, even had the Oregon Kicker Refund!
What's not so great: When you go back into a deduction area, you have to refill all the stuff.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Changed from Tax Act after using that product for years. Like this product better.
