Not bad

I use TurboTax every year. Works like it should.
What's great about it: Filling out was easy
What's not so great: End payment process was a pain.

Easy taxes

I have been using Turbo Tax software for over 20 years! I love how easy it is to use. The prompting format covers all tax topics and helps you to remember all possible income and expense items you had in the prior year. Some years were more complicated than others, but Turbo Tax has always helped me get the most return (or pay the least amount) in federal and state taxes.
What's great about it: how easy it is to use
What's not so great: nothing!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fix home office deduction

The only issue I had was that I was not eligible for the home office deduction, but I didn't realize it until after going through "fix errors" section several times. It should just tell me that I don't qualify.
What's not so great: needs to recognize income and not let me take home office deduction

got the job done

As always TurboTax provided the tools necessary to complete the return. I enter the information as I get it and then, at the end, I go through the entire interview. Turbo Tax permits both ways of entering information. Since my return is not simple, Turbo Tax seemed to be constantly asking me to upgrade up to more expensive versions of the product. The final insult was to require me to pay to electronically file my state taxes. This cost should be waived or included in the initial payment. Turbo tax offers a free state return that is really not free.
What's great about it: Went through the steps to complete the return
What's not so great: nickeled and dimed me

What's great about it: I like the wizard that takes the user from start to finish. Also appreciate the audit and sending taxes electronically.
