Been using for years, since a friend talked me into doing my taxes electronically. I was determined that no one could do it as good as I could but Turbo Tax has sure done the trick for me. It is less frustrating and easy enough so anyone can do it.

Easy and Accurate

This product takes the anxiety out of preparing tax returns. Does all the calculations accurately and determines what is allowable. You can very quickly run scenarios to see if certain deductions are viable and the thresholds for meeting them.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, can download data, works with Quicken

I rate using Turbo Tax a 9 out of 10. No real negatives in using it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and prompted all the way
What's not so great: The use of my IP Pin number was not apparent prior to e-filing.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

city capability is lousy

have been trying to do City tax and need to deduct days worked outside City. Turbo Tax doesn't seem to allow. Now that I finished and filed Fed and State, I wanted to return to this to see if it was updated and I can't even get back to the City section. That's just lousy programming. Very disappointed in Turbo Tax that this seems to be a problem year after year.

I have been using TurboTax for many years. In fact I've been using Intuit tax products before there was a TurboTax. Never had a problem. Great product.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy like it has been year after year.

Wouldn't do my taxes without some kind of tax aid thank you for supporting the duties.
What's great about it: Having all the forms and telling me which ones need to be filied
What's not so great: Had a problem determining what kind of IRA I was dealing with
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy is Turbo Tax

I appreciate the ease of the program. It walks you through, asks the correct questions, and allows you to search if you have a question. The speed of completing the process is great. I spent more time sorting through my papers and organizing the info than I did entering and e-filing.
