This year was more difficult and instructions not as clear as previous years. It took a good bit longer to do the return even though little had changed in the content required for my return.
As usual though, I can expect an accurate return using Turbo Tax.

What's great about it: Always accurate and mostly easy to follow.
What's not so great: This year is a little more cumbersome than previous yearrs

I have been using Turbo Tax for 20 years. I have had a farm, a business, and rental property. Turbo tax made it easy.

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and they seem to make it better and better each season. Helps keep me from making bone headed mistakes. That saves me money!
What's great about it: Takes much of the confusion out of trying to figure out what the feds need and what they don't.
What's not so great: Asked for a lot of personal information in order to file electronically.

Turbo Tax 2016

The tax season did not start well, as after purchasing Turbo Tax Deluxe in Virginia, it indicated that "your preferred language and region is not one supported by Turbo Tax". It then indicated by preference to be English (United States, Computer). This same window greeted me through numerous updates.
A small foreign tax was never able to be reconciled. I suspect it only cost me a few dollars.
Any time that I opened the program to enter new data, I had to go through that entire portion of the program to make a simple change.
I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find that it is more difficult to use now than any the earlier days.
What's great about it: I did finally complete the tax returns.
What's not so great: Difficult to deal with simple expenses for individual contractor.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TurboTax asks questions that insure I include everything I need for Federal Income Tax. Saves time by importing prior year info.
What's great about it: Makes sure that I do not miss deductions, taxable income and info on IRAs.
What's not so great: None
