Just Did My Taxes

I really like using Turbo Tax software to do my return. It takes you step by step through all of the different categories of income and expenses so that you don't miss out on anything.
What's great about it: Pulls all your information from prior years and makes it so easy to prepare your return.
What's not so great: Depending on the complexity of your return you may need to upgrade to a more expensive software package.

Excellent product

I have used this for years, after realizing that I was doing all the work and preparers were just entering it into their computer programs, and charging big bucks. TT allows you to do the same at home. You can choose to go step by step and answer (or review) all pertinent questions, or just enter numbers into the topic (Income/Deductions etc.) After one year is saved, it goes even faster because you can compare this year with last. I always print out and read it thru before filing just as a final check. You can enter info as it becomes available or do all at once but a good idea to go back and review all questions before you file to be sure you haven't overlooked anything. A fantastic way to enjoy doing your taxes. Actually fun!
What's great about it: Just answer the questions, TT does the rest. You need to input the IRS required information
What's not so great: Once done, can't go back and edit political contribution choice. Can't do screen printing.

Great Program - I use the auto renew every year and will continue using Turbo Tax, I do all my family and they think I am a tax wiz, Thanks
What's great about it: Very Easy
What's not so great: City tax can be diffacult
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I use to not file on time because of the complexity... Now I file in ASAP! Third year with Turbo!

I have used Turbo Tax for my taxes and I can say it is as easy as 123. Explains in detail if you have any problems or call for assistance. I have e-file every year and have not had any problems.
