Meh - it worked but some weird quirks

overall t-tax is fine. Some weird errors came up and then I had to spend a lot of time navigating around to fix the underlying issue.
What's great about it: ok price, mostly easy
What's not so great: obscure erorrs that don't let you see the whole picutre - no links to Fed errors that cause state errors

Nothing but problems

Last year we got scammed and the info was stolen and someone else got the return. I had to file an affidavit and it took almost a year to get it corrected both Federal and State.
I couldn't save this recent one it wouldn't let me.
I should have learned my lesson last year and gone with someone else but I thought everything was fixed.
What's great about it: Easy to input info
What's not so great: Got rejected and could not save return

Another great product from Turbo Tax. It is easy to use and the walk through process is easy to follow while at the same time flows in a way that gets you to do your taxes! I like the step by step process to it. There is no wondering what to do next.
What's great about it: Fast and thorough
What's not so great: Didn't completely import last year's data
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is so easy!

I've used TurboTax for years and never had a problem until this year. Some information I input didn't show up when I went to the next page. I couldn't find an answer online and couldn't find a live person to ask...such a simple question! It was frustrating. Otherwise, I trust TurboTax, it is easy and accurate.
What's great about it: It walks me through the filing process step-by-step
What's not so great: It's impossible to talk with a live support person

e-File Issues (Mac)

After ~ 2 hours of searching, re-tryiing to file and eventually uninstalling the 2015 Deluxe plus all of the 'buried' files I resorted to doing an install of the software and all updates. e-File eventually worked but the extent of the labor and the frustrations getting to this point will make me seriously consider an alternative for the 2016 tax year.
What's great about it: TurboTax is my 'go to' software for the past 9-years
What's not so great: Realtime problems e-filing this year (2015 return)

I use TurboTax every year as it guides me through all the items I need to enter. I am sure I would miss things without it. And it makes it easy to figure out value of donation of goods and tally up all donations of goods and money.
What's great about it: Can opt to be guided through everything or jump to the area you want.
